These are still images from Catch (2011, single-channel video projection with sound), a new video work that we shot during a performance, Fleeting Glimpses of the Jolly Vagabonds, at the opening of ruru & friends, Ruangrupa‘s 10th Anniversary exhibition, the National Gallery of Indonesia, December 2010.
The performers were from rewindart and Indonesia’s Sketchers, involving several people from Jakarta 32ºC. Syauqi Tuasikal and I shot these with a DSLR and a 3CCD camera, respectively. This video work will be part of the exhibition Homo Ludens #2 at Emmitan Gallery, Surabaya. |
