Riding the red line from 47th street to Argyle was interesting. I remember Slater mentioned that 22nd street is where he thinks the boundary is, between the North and the South. Glenn mentioned the River North – but I couldn’t see the river and I couldn’t see the streets, so I decided to just observe.

It looked like Chicago station is where the demography changed. From then on, and especially somewhere along the Magnificent Mile, it went quite busy and perky. This was the night Chicago Cubs beat LA Dodgers, and I saw quite a few Cubs supporter.

When I stepped out of the Argyle station and saw the Vietnamese strip, my heart sang and I felt a deep ASEAN sisterhood. Or rather, tummyhood.
